Game Plan
- Prepare structured notes from all reading, document key points and organize them subject-wise (e.g. Polity, Economy)
- Do not spend much time on small topics such as Internal Security as only few questions are asked from these areas
- For minor topics, utilize Google and Wikipedia to understand definitions, concept and key issue. Prepare 2-3 key points from Current affairs which will be useful in Mains Exam
- Focus on Essay, GS-4 (Ethics) Paper and Optional papers, these will decide your rank
- Choose Optional wisely. Factors to consider before choosing an optional in priority order
a) Subject of own Interest
b) Graduation subject
c) Short syllabus
d) Available guidance and quality study material
e) How much General Studies syllabus is covered
- Refer to Government website, such as PIB (https://www.pib.gov.in), for authentic information
- Check relevant government ministry for related topics. e.g. For Space Technology check https://www.isro.gov.in/
for Bio-Technology check https://dbtindia.gov.in/ - Keep your reading sources minimum. Repeated revision and answer writing practice is the key to success
